Join Glaser’s Collision Center’s apprenticeship program and find your pathway to a highly rewarding career as a quality-driven, autobody technician. We take an “earn-as-you-learn” approach, ensuring you can earn a good, living wage with benefits right from the start. This 18-month auto body technician program does not require prior experience only the willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to memorize the unique instructions and directions for repairing each vehicle.

Program Outline:

Learn all aspects of repairing a damaged vehicle:
-Remove, organize, and properly store all necessary components to gain access to damaged areas.
-Mending methods such as hammering, filling in dents, and welding broken parts.
-Operate a variety of hand and power tools such as welder, soldering equipment, blocks, hammers, wrenches, and sander.
-Reassemble all components and troubleshoot any issues.

Other Program Details:
-Monday – Thursday-8:00am – 5:30pm. Friday’s 8:00am – 12:00pm. Consistent 40 hours a week
-Curriculum of books and videos paired with hands-on training.
-Teamed with an A-level technician to teach and guide throughout the apprenticeship
-Basic tools provided
-Ability to earn while you learn
-Latest technology and equipment
-Scheduled, graduated wage increases
-A real career and professional track

Qualifications:

-Must be 18 years of age
-Reliable transportation
-Base knowledge of vehicle mechanics
-Willingness to learn
