Gene and Susan Glaser started Glaser’s Automotive in 1986 as a full-service automotive repair shop. Gene Glaser came from a background of construction workers and Susan had a background in computers but they learned how to run the business. The original shop, a 900 sq. ft. building in Buechel, did full mechanical work, body, paint, interior repairs, and high-performance upgrades. After several years, the Glaser’s decided to narrow its focus to collision repair only in order to provide its customers with the best possible service.
1990 – Opened Jeffersontown shop and it also serves as the headquarters for Glaser’s.
1999 – Opened second location in the heart of Louisville on Preston Hwy.
2008 – Opened third location in Bullitt County.
2019 – Opened fourth location on Southside drive in South Louisville.
Second Generation Owners
Today, the business is being carried on by second-generation owners Aaron and Heather Glaser. They are committed to investing in the growth of the current shops but also looking at opportunities to open more shops. In 2019, they opened the South Louisville location. The Glaser’s stand committed to high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service as well as involvement in the community. Whether hosting Ladies Night or a supply drive for Community Food Pantries or Souping up Bikes for Toys for Tots, the Glaser’s like supporting the community.
Glaser’s Collision Centers are proudly committed to having a family-owned and operated business and look forward to continuing the tradition of quality collision repairs. Recently third generation, Connor Glaser, started working in the business.
It’s an honor to help continue building what my parents started 35 years ago,” stated Aaron Glaser, second-generation owner, and COO, Glaser’s Collision Centers, “And now to have our son Connor work for the business is pretty exciting. We are proud of our family-owned and operated business and look forward to the future.”
All Glaser’s locations maintain I-Car Gold Class status with trained welders and technicians trained to work on all make and model vehicles.
