Gene and Susan Glaser started Glaser’s Automotive in 1986 as a full-service automotive repair shop. Gene Glaser came from a background of construction workers, but always had a passion for cars. After a result and spending many years building homes, he decided to follow his heart and open an auto shop. The original shop did full mechanical work, body, paint, interior repairs, and high-performance upgrades. After several years, the Glaser’s decided to narrow its focus in order to provide its customer with the best possible collision repair service.
Glaser’s Collision Center was born, and theJeffersontownshop was built to better suit the growing collision repair business. The Jeffersontown shop serves as the headquarters for Glaser’s and is the largest shop.
In 1999, a second location in the heart of Louisville was opened onPreston Hwylocation. Then in 2008, with a lack of quality-oriented shops in the area, several insurance companies motivated Glaser’s to start its third location inShepherdsville.
Second Generation Owners
Today, the business is being carried on by second generation owners Aaron and Heather Glaser. The Glaser’s stand committed to high quality repairs and exceptional customer service as well as involvement in the community. Whether hostingLadies Night, now in its 9th year, or a supply drive forKentucky Humane Society,orSouping up Bikes for Toys for Tots, the Glaser’s like supporting the community.
Because of the a commitment to the future, and a strong team of employees the Glaser’s opened their fourth location at the end of 2019 in South Louisville.
All Glaser’s locations have maintained I-Car Gold Class status, have I-Car trained welders, and are technicians are trained to work on all makes and model vehicles.
The Team’s focus on quality does not go unnoticed, with Glaser’s having won Best Body Shop in Louisville several times and awarded the 2017 A-List Best Body Shop.
